3D Modeling and Animation

In this program, students will learn how to create 3D models and Assets for games using Blender. Students will learn to use Blender and understand its interface, modeling fundamentals, materials, lighting, UV mapping, and texturing. Students will be able to apply new skills immediately to real 3D models. This also takes a deep dive into some of the tools and techniques used to create 3D models for games and for virtual reality. Students will be taken through an entire art pipeline, from concept, to creation, and then finally, to implementation within a real-time game engine. Students will also practice techniques used by professional game studios to create amazing designs, while keeping game performance costs low.
